The IDOC has indulged itself in an history of racism and unlawful acts. The media and so called “prisoners’ rights groups” have refused to report these events. These blatant refusals of recognition eventually led to Adam Titus, Bobby Johnson, Max McCoy, and numerous other inmates being brutally beaten while handcuffed and defenseless.
On June 16, 2017, Adam Titus, Bobby Johnson, Max McCoy, and a few other individuals were brutally attacked by numerous prison guards at the M.C.C. These heinous acts occurred while they were handcuffed on the ground. Their assailants also hurled racial slurs at them. Furthermore, they were subsequently denied medical attention. In addition, this was reported to prison authorities (Warden J. Lashbrook) and IDOC administrators who have ignored and repeatedly tried to cover up these racially-motivated attacks by M.C.C. officers against inmates at the facility.
